This logo will be for a vacation short-term rental property near the beach (beach house). We are creating a brand for the house with the intent to create a loyal following of repeat guests. We are targeting families (couples with kids) as our primary customers, but all vacationers are welcome. We want to create a happy feeling associated with the beach house. The logo will be used in marketing (online and print), artwork/decor, signage, etc.

The design should have the following

The theme for the beach house is a Happy Pelican. The design must include a pelican character. It should be a fun character, but not too cartoonish. It should include the text: Happy Pelican Cottage. ("Cottage" should be minimized). The logo should convey the emotion of happiness, appealing to families (not just kids, don't want it to look like a nursery image). Should include some pastel colors. A Pelican standing on a pole or a dock might be a good idea. A simple, fun logo.

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
• Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)
• Television/screen
