SUMMARY: Global Alternative Investment Management, LLC is a private fund management company that creates and manages private funds that make opportunistic investments in areas such as Technology/Big Data, Social Media, Cannabis/CBD, Specialty Retail, Fintech (banking, crypto, consumer finance), Telecommunications Infrastructure (cell towers/submarine cable-fiber optics), for its accredited (high net worth) clients. Global Alternative Investment Management is seeking to build upon its success by expanding its client base to a national and global audience that includes high net worth and institutional investors. The investments in our funds seek to capitalize on new technologies, special situations, mispriced assets or other opportunities that have the potential to double (or more) in value in a 3-5 year period.
TARGET AUDIENCE:
Our Funds are marketed to high-net worth individuals, or those that make in excess of $200,000-300,000 (US$) annually, and have investable assets of at least $1 million, or more commonly, require $2.5 million or in some cases $5+ million. Our clients are successful professionals (i.e. doctors), entrepreneurs, business owners that are financially savvy. Our Funds curate investment opportunities for these investors to participate in opportunistic, relevant investments that they may not otherwise be able to access on their own.
COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Global Alternative Investment Management, LLC. (GAIM). GAIM creates and manages private funds for high net worth (accredited investors) that must meet certain minimum income and wealth requirements.
GAIM will create and market private funds that invest in Alternative Investments. Alternative investments are investments that are not traditional investments such as stocks and bonds.
Alternative investments may include:
1) Private equity Private Equity is capital invested in a company or other entity that is not publicly listed or traded.
2) Venture capital is funding given to startups or other young businesses that show potential for long-term growth.
3) Hedge Strategies/Hedge Funds Hedge funds are financial partnerships that use pooled funds and employ different strategies to earn active returns for their investors
4) Real assets are physical assets that have an intrinsic worth due to their substance and properties. Real assets include precious metals, commodities, real estate, land, equipment, and natural resources.
GAIM will be a new company that is being created out of a division of our affiliate that has created 9 Funds since 2016, developing a successful track record making opportunistic and timely investments into areas such as Big Data/Tech, Cannabis, Fintech companies, specialty retail, telecommunications infrastructure, defense electronics.
The investments that GAIM will pursue for its investors may be U.S. or global in their operations, are generally higher risk, require that investors commit their money for longer periods of time (3-10 years) and seek higher returns than what can otherwise be obtained by investing directly in stocks or bond portfolios.
