Another thing to consider is that the actual lettering needs to be able to stand on its own. There will be some places we put the logo where because of the 3d on the icon it won't work and we'll need to just use the lettering.

When you refer to 3D, do you mean the glossy appearance of the design in conjunction with gradients? Do you want to see that "web 2.0" look as well as a monotone variation? Just trying to understand what you're asking for. Thanks!

deathmask, it was there but seems to be gone. I can't remember who's logo it was but I think it was a TV manufacturer.

yes its gone. if you use the search button or search by category on the brandsoftheworld.com site you can see some 2 or 3 dimensional icons that usually are incorporated as part of the logos. One thing to remember is that the actual lettering needs to be able to stand on its own without the icon at times. thank you

I would like to see someone submit an icon that has a globe look (rounded) but the E maybe dotted (like it currently is but more separated). This would be cool in a 3d look with silver border
