Describe your company and organization and target audience

My company is a dance school called Melbourne Latin Dance and we are bringing out a range of shoes by the school mostly for our students. Our range will be 90 womens shoes but there will also be a range of Jazz shoes for men so the label should not be too feminine.

Our students are generally in their 20's to 40's. They are generally well educated professionals who have taken up dancing as a hobby.

The design should have the following

This logo is for Latin Dance shoes, called “DANSA”.

The Logo will be printed on the inner sole (where the heel of the foot sits) of each dance shoe in and it will be in silver. Please note that this will be the MAIN use for this logo. As such the dimensions of the logo need to fit within the inner sole of the dance shoe. Ie it can be wide, but not high.
The “logo" will mostly be about the actual word “DANSA”. What I have in mind is using the same font for the letters D, A, N and A, but doing something a little different with the “S”. Maybe making it much bigger than the other letters and maybe even making it look something like the figure of a dancer. This is one thought but I am open to completely different options.

The logo will also potentially be printed on Dance Shoe Bags.

The shoes will be for Salsa and other Latin styles of dance.

Look and feel: sexy, elegant, classy, modern, stylish.

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
• Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)
• Television/screen

This design should not have this in the entries

Please note that the logo will be printed on the inner sole of the shoe is silver foil so the design cannot incorporate any colour. It must all be in silver and cannot incorporate any level of shading. (it is fine to show this in grey)
