Describe your company and organization and target audience

CAPE is a non-profit animal advocacy and rescue organization. We have a sanctuary for special needs animals in Grass Valley, CA and a dog rescue/foster/adoption program in Santa Cruz, CA. We offer educational programs such as our Animal Film Festival, and we manage animal awareness campaigns. We have a rescued burro program bringing wild burros to our sanctuary who were rounded up by the US Bureau of Land Management. CAPE was founded in 1992. We recently rescued our 1586th animal - a burro named Celina.

Our current logo is out of date and does not reflect the growth and change CAPE has experienced - especially during this past year. In late 2012, we opened our Grass Valley Sanctuary. Since then CAPE has ramped up our burro rescue program. We also will host our first annual Animal Film Festival slated for Saturday March 1, 2014. Our dog rescue program in Santa Cruz continues to save the lives of older, special needs dogs - taking them from the Santa Cruz Shelter and placing them into foster homes, then adopting them into permanent homes. We want our logo to be simple, memorable, a reflection of CAPE and versatile as we plan to print it on t-shirts, stationary, signage, etc. We are hoping the images of a dog and a burro can be in the logo. We want the our organization primary color to be in the logo. Please visit our website to see the blue/green color that we use.

CAPE's official name is long and kind of clunky. We would like two options: one with the full name in the logo and another with just the anachronim: CAPE. In both samples, we would like the letters 'CAPE' to be highlighted.
