Describe your company and organization and target audience
We are a single doctor ophthalmology practice located in the Southwest (Tucson, AZ). We want a unique & creative name to associate with our highly-regarded doctor, so in the future we can add other doctors under the brand (practice name).
What do you need written
The practice has a strong surgical component, although not elective refractive surgery (i.e. Lasik). The single doctor that represents this new practice is a woman and the practice has been designed to have a warm, inviting atmosphere with state-of-the-art equipment and amenities. Educating the patients, providing thorough eye care and just spending time addressing the patients' are a primary emphasis of the practice. Because we are located in the Southwest, the name could have a regional component, although it is not necessary. We would like the name to be easy to pronounce. The name should not connote eyewear, place you go to get glasses. We are a medical practice and treat eye diseases. We do write prescriptions for glasses, but typically it is after evaluating or treating medical eye problem, not just a need for a pair of glasses.
What do you not want
Difficult or confusing names to pronounce. For example, we considered using "MiraBien" as the name, but older patients had a hard time with pronunciation and meaning. We do not want any strong reference to a place you would go to get eyewear/glasses.
