Hello everyone!
How is everyone doing? We are almost done with the first month of the year 2021 and so far it’s been a great one!
We have something fun to share with you in this newsletter: We interviewed one of our talented creatives, Ethan, and got to know more about not only how he where he gets inspiration with his creative work, but also about his life outside of Hatchwise. We also took a look at a couple of past contests, their results, and how those businesses are using their designs today! Keep scrolling to read more about those.
Have a great weekend!

We’ve been seeing a lot of awesome entries in our design contests lately and here’s one, by creative Savana, that we really like!
What’s it really like to be a graphic designer? It’s a lot of hard work, but according to Hatchwise creative Ethan Barquin, it’s incredibly fulfilling as well. Ethan has been participating in Hatchwise design contests since 2011 when he was relatively new to graphic design. Now, he’s a full-time designer, but he spared a few minutes to share his success story with us.
Brochures are always a great way for a client to show their company through an interesting perspective. In our day and age with so much being online, it can be refreshing to get to see accompany use print advertising. One of our favorite contests run is this Brochure Contest that was held by St. Patrick Lake Longbows. The contest received many creative entries and the winner was awarded a prize of $150!
We’ve gotten to see some amazing contests run here at Hatchwise. One of our favorites is this logo contest that was run for a cafe. The contest received over 200 entries from some of the most talented Hatchwise creatives. We’re always happy to see the results that clients get from their contests, especially when it’s a result that they both love and use!

Unfortunately, website navigation issues are among the top reasons why people abandon a site.
If you’ve ever been to a new airport or train station, you probably know the feeling of turning in frantic circles as you try to find your way. You have 20 minutes to get to your gate — which way do you go? What do the signs mean? And where is the bathroom?
