I'm not a complainer. Really. But when I see some of the things that businesses offer and do it brings pause, head scratching and wonder. Often without an outlet to express constructive distain. Not anymore. What Makes Them Thinks Provide a Forum for me and others to point out inconsiderate, unthinking things that we face with major brands, services and products.
Humor is critical as any good vent must entertain as well as express. Foul language, mean spirited agenda and politics of any kind is forbidden. No vents about individuals are allowed rather you lob verbal asides at vendors and brands the way they are presented, packaged, sold or delivered.
For example:
Who thinks it is ok to use pricing labels that require a crow bar to remove and will outlast dozens of washings?
What makes them think that putting glitter on cheap holiday cards is a good idea?
What makes them think that tire pressure markings that take five minutes to find is OK?
Participants can weigh in to agree, submit their own vents, become known venters, sign blast vents, and call out those who create vent angst that waste our time, question our intelligence or think we won't/don't notice. Vocal venters are honest, reasonable people who get fed up from time to time with inept attempts to save money, time or quality at buyer expense.
Each week we will have our venting community vote on the vent of the week and the winners will be sent a shared notification are their power to sway our vents in their direction. They will certainly be so pleased! (not) Venters be heard!
