We need a logo design for a new family owned fast food restaurant in Long Beach, California. We are focusing on Mexican empanadas and quesadillas (Empadillas is a combination of the two) that are made to order with hand-made tortillas. You select the sweet or savory filling and we deep fry them. We also offer other dishes as seasonal and weekend specials. Our target clientele are students from junior high to college and 30-60 year old men who drive for work. Both of these demographics will be served with a quick service, lots of to go orders and picks ups.

The design should have the following

We would like a hip clean look that mixes traditional touches. We would like the colors Royal Blue, light gray/chrome, and touches of green or red to be used, but don't limit yourself to these colors. Most of our marketing will be online. We had thought of having an empanada that had half of an Aztec calendar on it and have that be crowned by "EMPADILLAS" and then in smaller font the word Mexican Food. The Aztec calendar and Empanada don't have to be in the design though, those are just inspirations.

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
• Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)
• Television/screen

This design should not have this in the entries

Sombrero, a poncho, a cactus, a rooster, the Mexican Flag, Mexican Indian, dressed in white or with feathers. No penachos (the feather crowns).
