We caught up with Bryan Scott, who together with his wife, owns and operates a pair of popular food trucks, Doggie Mac’s and The Truck Stop in the St. Louis/Illinois area.

Of course, we wanted to hear all about his experience using Hatchwise to create his food truck logo design, and Bryan was happy to share.
“It Was A Fantastic Experience”
Bryan is a long-time Hatchwise customer who first stumbled on the platform during a Google search years ago. Bryan admits to being skeptical of the contest-style crowdsourcing model
But decided to take the leap and give it a try.
“It was great how the process went and I just kind of fell in love with it.”
Bryan is now two contests into his Hatchwise experience and he is hooked.
I was so impressed with the first one. The second one was a no-brainer. I was like, I know where I’m going from now on. I just love it. It was kind of exciting, and you know, you get to see so many different ideas. It was just a really cool experience.

For The Truck Stop logo, Bryan wanted a design that included not only the food truck but also showcased the burgers, boozy shakes, and fries the truck is famous for.
The Chef B’s Chicken & Burger Bar logo had the classic and versatile design that Bryan wanted for the pop-up venture that (spoiler alert) may become a full-fledged restaurant in the future. Both logos knocked it out of the park.

Bryan wrapped up our chat by sharing his thoughts on just how much time and money you are really saving with a Hatchwise contest.
If it takes you three weeks to get a logo, that’s three weeks that you don’t have to promote yourself. If I don’t have a logo, then I can’t start my business. I can’t start advertising properly and that costs me money. So the fact that I know that I can set a definite time that allows me to go off and do other things …that saves me time and money, and it makes me money in the long run.
