Farm Logos
Much of our everyday necessities are born from farms. The fruits and vegetables we eat, the milk we drink, the meat we cook, and even the flowers we decorate with. No matter where you live, or travel, there’s a farm likely not too far away.
Beyond shopping for locally grown products, a visit to a farm can also be a fun afternoon activity for the whole family. Whether you want to pick your produce, get up close to animals, take a hayride, or simply wander the acres, you won’t run out of activities for everyone in your family to enjoy. The logos below represent some of the many farms across the country that cover a variety of harvest industries that show us just how creative farm logos can be.

Famous Farm Logos
Given how many industries farms span, it makes sense that
there is no shortage of different design paths you can take. From vineyards in
Napa to orange fields in Florida, there are several noteworthy farms that we
can all take inspiration from. With each farm taking a unique twist on its
design, it’s clear that there is no right or wrong direction to go.
Island Creek Oysters While some farms produce fruits and vegetables, other farms harvest oysters, like Island Creek Oysters. In 1992, Skip Bennett decided to experiment with growing a quahog farm in his hometown of Duxbury, Massachusetts. Skip was no stranger to this life. His father was a lobsterman, and before testing out his quahog harvesting, he previously spent years digging up mussels, razor clams, and steamers. His first experiment didn’t pan out, and his quahogs all died, which gave him the idea to start growing oysters. He had a knack for this, and competition in the Duxbury area was nonexistent. After joining forces with a few other farmers, Island Creek Oysters became a fully operating oyster farm, harvesting enough oysters to make the farm a full-time enterprise. This farm’s logo stands out for more than just the bright orange color. The font choice is clean, and the logo depicts the farm’s name and where the farm operates. Additionally, there is an image below the lettering that represents an oyster, and the circle emblem the design sits in symbolizes the rings on an oyster shell, forming a circle.
Southern Belle Farm Different parts of the United States specialize in different harvests, and for Georgia, one of the top harvests is peaches. Southern Belle Farm is a family-owned farm in McDonough, Georgia that has been owned by eight generations of the Carter Family. The farm spans 330 acres, and depending on the season you visit, you’ll be greeted with different seasonal activities. While the farm’s peach harvest and abundance of peaches to pick is what brings many visitors in, Southern Belle also offers berry picking, a 4-acre corn maze, and Christmas tree picking, depending on the season you visit. Southern Belle Farm’s logo represents the farm’s roots. With a timeless font, the farm’s name and location are depicted. In the center of the design is an image of Southern Belle Farm’s premises, representing what you’ll find when you visit. The image resembles an old working farm, tying back to Southern Belle’s roots. The logo design is printed in black, creating a versatile and classic design that can be used for decades to come.
Wright’s Dairy Farm Since 1914, Wright’s Dairy Farm (and Bakery) has been producing dairy products from its working dairy farm for the public. Beyond being a working dairy farm that cares for and milks its cows, the farm also pasteurizes and bottles the milk. Found in North Smithfield, Rhode Island, Wright’s Dairy Farm & Bakery is also a high-quality bakery, a specialty cake provider, and a retail store selling farm-fresh milk, ice cream, pastries, and more. The farm’s motto is “Real Cows. Real Food. Real People.” The farm attracts visitors from Massachusetts, Connecticut, and other New England areas because not only can you buy farm-fresh products, but you can also see the animals (and how healthy they are) up close. Wright’s logo is a unique take on a farm logo. The logo features the farm’s name in a cursive font conveying the friendliness of the farm. To the left of the wordmark is a green emblem featuring a cow in a chef’s hat. Green symbolizes the grass the cows roam on. The cow represents the dairy farm, and the chef’s hat symbolizes the bakery and other farm-fresh items that are unique to Wright’s and available for retail.
