Thanks to everyone who has submitted a design so far. There are some impressive designs done by some people who obviously have great talent! I appreciate your efforts but I think I'm still looking for "The One"... For future submissions: Please do not use a longhorn (University of Texas mascot) or anything that resembles a longhorn in your design. Please no musical instruments in the design. Although the orange in some designs looks nice I do not want to focus on a burnt orange look. These are the school colors for the local university. However, the vast majority of my customers are not students and most of them did not go to the University of Texas. Once again, thanks for your efforts.

How much detail do you want in this logo?

It's hard for me to say exactly how much detail I want. The best advice I can give you is to look at the other designs I have rated 3. The design doesn't have to be super detailed as long as it is interesting and eye-catching.

Thanks again to everyone who has submitted designs! I wanted to clarify one thing about the text. I mentioned this in question #5 of my design bid: My only request is that either the words "Top Austin Apartments" all have the same weight/emphasis OR the word "Top" has slightly more weight/emphasis than "Austin Apartments". I do not want the logo to read "Top Austin", "Apartments". See entries #: 15211, 15175 These are examples of what I do not want. "Top Austin" is visually separated from "Apartments". I would like all three words to be visually similar. Like in entry # 15140 OR "Top" can be visually separated from "Austin Apartments" like in entries # 15099, 15104 One thing though I don't want the word Top to be extremely exaggerated. Just separate it slightly from the other two words. Here is an example of an entry with too much emphasis on the word Top: 15205

Hello designers! I just wanted to point out that I have pre-paid the $150 prize so I will definitely be selecting one of you as the winner. There are some great designs so far but I'm still very much open to new concepts and/or revisions of existing concepts rated 3 or better. Thanks so much for the designs that have been submitted so far!

Incredible!!!! I am absolutely amazed at the number & quality of entries I received. It has been a pleasure to work with each and every one of you. Thanks so much for your creativity and your entries. There are really a lot of great designs here. Even many of the entries I rated 1s, 2s, 3s, etc are excellent logos and probably could have worked... So thank you to all of the designers! I'm going to sleep on it for a day or two before selecting a winner.... Thanks again!
