BUCK is a lifestyle brand for people interested in outdoor sports (running, hunting, hiking, bmx biking) <br /> <br /> The organization is a tribute to our close friend, Buck Smith, who passed last August. The organizations founders met Buck in the Marine Corps and served closely with him on tours to Iraq in early 2000s. Buck was the most talented, physically and mentally, of any Marine I knew. He finished first in his class of over 100 in special operations Recon School (ARS), Combat Dive School, and SERE school. However, he had back issues after getting out that led to dependence on pain medication (opiates) which eventually led to his death. <br /> <br /> Buck will be an organization that seeks to memorialize him while also raising money on behalf of his son (and, down the road, on behalf of veterans who are struggling with addiction issues)<br /> <br /> Phase 1: generate awareness by selling t-shirts, hats, and coffee (BUCK loved coffee)<br /> Phase 2: create an endurance event (e.g. ultramarathon, obstacle race) on his behalf

See Marine Recon jack here: https://bit.ly/2JV9Wcz (would like at least faint resemblance of these images)<br /> <br /> Colors = black, white, greys, and given name and service in Marine Corps Recon, was thinking the logo would be a male deer (buck) skeleton, either just his head or head and body or profile of a buck skeleton in grey with a black circle as the backdrop. <br /> <br /> If you look at Marine Corps Recon logos on google, you&#039;ll get an idea. Want the logo to look tough and clean.<br /> <br /> Buck had a great sense of humor but unsure if there&#039;s a weight we can incorporate that in (like slight smile / smirk on the bucks&#039; face or mirrored oakley sunglasses on the buck<br /> <br /> Potentially show the buck running if show profile.<br /> <br /> There are tons of buck skeletons if you google search but hoping we can do something a bit original.<br /> <br /> One thing Buck and our teammates liked to say, &quot;Fix Bayonet&quot;. Wonder if we could try a version where the buck skeleton had one of his front legs up and facing forward (and look like a bayonet instead of a leg). Might be too tough to do on a logo.
