Idaho Logos
While when mentioned this Pacific Northwest state may bring the thought of potatoes to mind first, it has much more to offer than that. Yes, it is true that it is a leading agricultural state, but it also boasts of beautiful, rugged landscapes and rivers.
The state economy includes manufacturing, agriculture, mining, forestry, and tourism. A fun fact about the state; the 2004 cult film Napoleon Dynamite takes place in Preston, Idaho, and the film's director, Jared Hess, attended Preston High School.
We have here a collection of one-of-a-kind logos that have been custom-designed for businesses, companies, and manufacturers all located in the state of Idaho.

Famous Logos from Idaho
As the 7th least populated state in the country,
Idaho has plenty of space for big ideas. It's no wonder that several major
businesses have established themselves within the state! Unsurprisingly, some
of the most recognizable Idaho-based brands are in the food and beverage
industry.
Idahoan Foods
Of course, Idaho is probably most well-known for providing
nearly one-third of the country's potatoes. One of the state's most iconic
brands, Idahoan Foods, is known for making those potatoes even more accessible.
They provide pre-made, often shelf-stable potato dishes like mashed or
scalloped potatoes to help families get dinner on the table more efficiently.
Idahoan Foods began in the 1960s as a coalition between
local businessmen and potato farmers. They pride themselves on providing "fresh
potato flavor and texture in every product." They still source their
potatoes from local community-based growers.
The Idahoan Foods logo can be described as rustic. It
features a gold, oblong medallion with chunky black line art, making it look
like a wood carving. It depicts a scene of a potato farmer driving a tractor in
his fields under the watch of Idaho's famous Teton Mountains. A red banner with
the company's wordmark in white waves like a banner over the center of the
image. The logo shows that the company is down-to-earth, wholesome, and
committed to feeding people the "old-fashioned way."
Albertsons There are so many diverse regions of the United States, and one of the things that sets them apart is their grocery store chains! Albertsons, a popular grocery chain in the Western States, got its start in Boise, Idaho, in 1939. Today, you'll find locations in Idaho, Arizona, California, Montana, Oregon, Nevada, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming. Many consider Albertsons the first "modern" grocery store. Joe Albertson, the original proprietor, believed in providing his customers "the products they want, at a fair price, with lots of tender, loving care." Today, the company's logo still conveys those values. The Albertson's logo is blue, a calming color that represents openness and trustworthiness. The wordmark is a rounded serif font that looks like it could be painted on a sign on any Main Street in Small Town, USA, in the 20th century. Albertsons also uses an abstract image of a plant to indicate that they offer fresh, high-quality food products, including produce. When combined with a triangular shape, it also creates an abstract letter "A" that the company can use as a compacted logo.
Grand Teton Vodka When most people think of Vodka, they think of Russia and other places in Eastern Europe. However, in recent years, there has been interest in buying more American-made products. This has allowed domestic vodka distilleries like Teton Distillery to thrive. Vodka is made from potatoes, which Idaho is famous for. Grand Teton Vodka is a family-owned and operated business that makes all of its products in small batches from locally sourced potatoes and Rocky Mountain spring water from the Tetons. Grand Teton Vodka is named for the magnificent mountain range that overlooks Idaho. Their logo features simple line art of a mountain, emphasizing the company's connection to its natural environment. The wordmark evokes the image of an Old Western Saloon, highlighting the brand's rugged individualism and pioneering spirit.
