Bakery Logos

Can anyone resist the heartwarming aroma of freshly baked bread? Or the sticky-sweet goodness of pastries and muffins? Or the lingering scent of gooey cookies?
Baking is an ancient tradition, but irresistible as it may be, they still need marketing! The right logo shows what each bakery has to offer, from its unique recipes to its artisan techniques.

Here are some of the logos we've whipped up from scratch, right here on Hatchwise.

Famous Bakery LogosThere are many well-known baking companies worldwide. Chances are, you have a loaf of bread, or some leftover cookies sitting on your counter right now! Here we have a little collection of some of the logos of the best-known bakeries.
Pepperidge Farm This iconic brand's tagline is "Pepperidge Farm Remembers." But one could argue it goes both ways, as this famous bakery is hard to forget! Its signature cookies include Milanos, Pirouettes, and Chessman, as well as their namesake "Farmhouse" line. They also make artisan breads, desserts, and the lunchbox staple, Goldfish crackers! Their logo features a charming snow-covered millhouse, suggesting the homemade warmth and traditional techniques that made them famous.

Einstein Bros. Bagels Popular on university campuses across the country, Einstein Bros. Bagels is a quick-service café known for its flavorful bagel combos. Its whimsical logo depicts two smart-looking chaps using bagels as monocles. Although this company isn't as homegrown as some of the others on this list, it has become iconic in its own right. The logo's quirky aesthetic is part of a clever and nerdy brand strategy that has built a loyal customer base, the "Schmear Society."

Dave's Bread

Known for its sprouted-grain, protein-rich recipes, Dave's Killer Bread offers a range of delicious sliced breads. The company also champions a "second-chance" policy, hiring former convicts and others from underprivileged communities. Its rock-and-roll logo reflects their alternative approach to baking and their commitment to great taste — literally! We also like the whimsical typeface and cartoon likeness of founder Dave Dahl, which give the brand a more accessible feel.

Tate's Bake Shop When you have a memorable name and a tantalizing tagline, you don't need much else in your logo. Tate's Bake Shop proudly proclaims that its cookies are "uniquely crispy" and "deeply delicious." Its monochromatic logo's deep green hue hints at the company's emphasis on sustainability, from its single-location bakery in Southampton, NY to its vegan offerings. We like the well-proportioned frame that allows this wordmark to blend seamlessly into the company's packaging.

Panera Bread This famous bakery is also a popular quick-service restaurant. Its breads are the base for a variety of savory dishes, including bread bowls, sandwiches, and pizzas. The Panera Bread logo depicts a woman holding a bread loaf like a baby. Jokes aside, this distinctive design reflects the brand's family-friendly and heartwarming appeal. We also like the tan hue of the logo, which is usually paired with a green background. It's reminiscent of Panera's famous sandwich-and-salad pairings. We're getting hungry just looking at it!

Boudin Sourdough Boudin Sourdough is San Francisco's longest-running company, and its crest-style logo reflects this historic status. The City by the Bay has embraced sourdough baking since the gold rush era. Indeed, Boudin says their sourdough starter, made from live yeast, is descended from a gold rusher's starter!

The initial "B" intersects a banner that proudly declares "Since 1849." The logo is flanked by golden sprigs of wheat, symbolizing the company's artisan traditions. It is a testament to sourdough's role in the Golden City's heritage. Plus, it stands out among other bakery logos that depict the bread itself.
