TAP Engineering is a US-based engineering services company specializing in the research, development and rapid-prototyping of custom microelectronics hardware and software solutions for information-sensitive government and commercial clients.

The design should have the following

Design an Eagle built from microelectronics circuit elements.

The Eagle should be similar to the Navy (military) Eagle, with a shield on its chest. The shield should be a microelectronic chip with the TAP Engineering logo on the front. The shield should be in the USA flag colors.  It should be immediately clear to everyone that the shield represents the American Flag. It should also be clear after a brief study by anyone with a technical/engineering background that the Eagle is constructed from electronic circuit/component elements (i.e. circuit traces, components/chips). The preferred design will be a simple, clean, clever merging of the two concepts. The Eagle should be white. It will be printed on a navy blue t-shirt.

A reference idea image and our logo is included.

The primary use for this design will be screen printing on a Navy Blue t-shirt, however we plan to use it on other forms of promotional/marketing materials as well.

With the winning design, we would need the following versions:

1A & B - Color Version w/ the shield in Traditional USA Red, White & Blue Colors on a white, navy blue, black, and transparent background.  

2A & B – All white version on a navy blue, black and transparent background.
