The Monarch is a new retirement home in Calgary, Alberta. The target audience is seniors 65+ and their adult children. The Monarch will be a high-end retirement residence. It is designed with elegance and comfort throughout.

The design should have the following

A monarch is a butterfly. We would like a butterfly to be in the logo but not just a giant obvious butterfly. Looking for a classy symbol, outline etc. The words "The Monarch" are the most important part and should be larger than "Retirement Community". I think the ideal logo would have "The Monarch" on the top line with "Retirement Community" in a smaller size underneath. Perhaps with a different font for each line.
