This is the name for our 1800's Vermont farmhouse we are renting on AirBNB.  It's a classic old house, painted yellow, nestled by a pond and surrounded by wildlife.

The design should have the following

We'd like a logo we can use as stationary header and possibly on a mug.

The image could either be of a goldfinch (small yellow bird) or of a  goldfinch feather, or it can be a wordmark.  Most likely the logo will be represented in black and white.  It could either have a detailed "sketchbook" feeling like a vintage naturalist sketch, or could be more of a silhouette.

The feeling should be elegant, vintage with a slight modern interpretation. 

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

Not cartoonish or cute.  While I'd love to have color as an option, it needs to be able to work in B+W
