Describe your company and organization and target audience

We are beginning an HOA management and rental company on the Oregon coast, much like several other companies we have opened. It is in Lincoln City, Oregon, in the United States. It is in the northern part of the country, so there are no palm trees, and people don't play beach volleyball here. Visitors come to our part of the coast to collect sea shells, agates and watch the whales. This will be the fifth logo we have asked all you Hatchwise artists to create for us. We love the results. We are attaching the four previous logos you have designed for us. We would like a logo that is similar in spirit, but not identical to any of those you've created for us so far. We would like the primary version to be circular in nature. But we would like a horizontal version, too. If possible, we would like the logo to be available in black and white. We have registered a company called "Surftides Plaza Management, LLC". In the U.S., we are also filling what's called a "Doing Business As" and our alternative name is "Surftides Plaza Rentals". We would ask that when you design a logo, you give us a version with Surftides Plaza "Management, LLC" and also a version as Surftides Plaza "Rentals". We will be using both logos. Half of our operation is running the homeowner's association. The other half is running the rentals for this condominium association.

The design should have the following

We want a logo that is circular, square or rectangular in nature, with a horizontal alternative. The existing websites we have feature a horizontal version at the top of the page, while the circular version appears everywhere else, plus mechandise. This company is on the Oregon Coast just a few meters from the beach. So it should incorporate coastal/beach themes. One of our existing companies features a mermaid, so please do not use that. We also have two companies in Central Oregon with very similar designs (Bend Riverside Rentals, LLC and Pioneer Park Rentals). We love them, but please do not use Bend Riverside or Pioneer Park as a template. We don't want clones of those two logos. I am including all these other logos so you can see what we like. Aside from what I've said above, we don't have a lot of direction to give. We're on the coast. We're on the beach. See what you can do with that.

This logo will be used for

• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
• Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)
• Television/screen

This design should not have this in the entries

Please do not use a mermaid. Take inspiration from our Bend Riverside and Pioneer Park logos, but don't duplicate or clone that specific design. We are on the coast, but we are in the northern latitude and we don't have palm trees or bikini contests.

Colors to use in the design

We are going to turn you loose to use any colors you like. We will say that the facility where this business will operate is called the Surftides Plaza Condominiums, and they have a simple white and black logo (see the uploaded files). You can use that for inspiration if you want to. But you don't have to. Unlike other logo design contests we've hosted here, we're open to any new ideas you want to come up with.
