Describe your company and organization and target audience

<p>This is a non-profit foundation for the national Red Angus Association of America (RAAA) that aids in three branches: research and development, junior development and a general fund. Red Angus is a breed of cattle that is red in color and naturally polled (NO HORNS). They are the same as Angus (black) but have a reddish/brown hair coat.</p><p><span style="font-size: 0.875rem;">The foundation will fund research projects that help advance the breed's position in the beef cattle industry. They will also help fund events, scholarships and activities for the Junior Red Angus Association.</span><br></p><p>Members of&nbsp; RAAA will be the primary audience of the foundation. They are well in tune with the cattle but will be the major funders of the foundation as well as the beneficiaries of its research and youth programs. The secondary audience are the customers of the members – cattle producers who purchase bulls from them. Thirdly, the logo will represent the foundation to the beef cattle industry.</p>

The design should have the following

<p>We have stalemated on our design ideas. We explored a triangle to represent the three branches but didn't find "the one." We also tried a circle but again, we weren't happy. We want the logo to represent progressiveness and forward movement with a very classy feel. It does not necessarily have to include an image of a cow or bull but could be more abstract. Money (fundraising) will be a major component of this foundation as it will receive donations and huge endowments that will then be reallocated for the betterment of the breed. The logo needs to have a very professional, clean look.</p><p>The font for the RAAA logo is Erbaum Black with a simple san serif like Helvetica Condensed Bold for the tag line. That may be used if it works but does not necessarily have to be the same. You can view our logo and more information at RedAngus.org. Also uploaded as an example.</p>

<p>We prefer a logo without a cow or bull graphic. If one is used, however, the animal should be red in color – not black or reversed white – and should NOT have horns. We also avoid using black for a color to avoid confusion with the Black Angus breed. We use Pantone 533C in a color logo. In a single-color logo, we understand that it is positive/negative space (black/white).</p>
