Overmountain Operations is a soon to be created company that specializes in Firearms Training, as well as medical training, communications training, and other similar skills. The goal is to create a local community that communicates and trains together to help ordinary citizens become more self reliant. The name is inspired from the "Overmountain Men" https://www.battlefields.org/learn/articles/overmountain-men here is a link explaining the history of them. The styling of the company wont be the traditional tactical edgy skull nonsense that you often see. Instead we want to come off as a sort of modern pioneer. A group that focuses not just on firearms training. We want to include martial arts, fitness, survival skills, ect all into one name. The mission of the company is to "shape effective citizens". To help ordinary people become comfortable in environments that they probably dont see in day to day life. The average American is very comfortable in the office, but how about in the woods? Without the modern luxuries of life, most people wouldnt be able to live. No grocery stores, no government, no food. We arent preppers, we arent going to be stockpiling massive amounts of food and ammo in a private compound. We want to stockpile the skills needed to survive on the off chance we should have to. We dont want to forsake modern life, but we do want to be ready should it fail.
