QUICK NOTE: While we'd love a very colorful logo, the primary colors of light are red, green, and blue. Featuring those colors a bit more would be a cool idea. We'd also love the logo to evoke the idea of animation or movement as one of the awesome thing about our product is that unlike painted backdrops, ours can move!

UPDATE: Wow! We have received so many incredible design concepts. Thank you all for your hard work! While we're super impressed by what we've seen, we're noticing a lot of artwork that evokes ideas of film or digital media but not a lot of artwork that ties into theatre or the performing arts. The idea came up internally of mixing the ideas of light bulbs found on an old-fashioned theatre marquee sign (see https://t4.ftcdn.net/jpg/02/95/02/85/360_F_295028524_aVnBti7glvAyTgHNgcrCNG35nbWX5iUW.jpg) and digital pixels. Something like that would give us that idea of theatre and digital media while also giving us the bonus of old and new. As our company replaces old technology (traditional theatrical backdrops) with new (digitally projected backdrops), that added bonus is very attractive to us.

Hello! While we're super impressed by what we've received so far, we're noticing a lot of artwork that evokes ideas of film or digital media but very little that ties into theatre or the performing arts. Both ideas are equally important to us and our business, and we really want to land on a logo that involves imagery and visuals tied to both. The idea came up internally of mixing the ideas of light bulbs found on an old-fashioned theatre marquee sign (see https://tinyurl.com/32628m7b for reference) and digital pixels. Perhaps a marquee sign that gradiently fades from standard bulbs to digital pixels would work. Something like that would give us that idea of theatre and digital media while also giving us the bonus of old and new. As our company replaces old technology (traditional, stationary painted theatrical backdrops) with new (digital, animated projected backdrops), that added bonus of old vs. new is very attractive to us.
