Describe your company and organization and target audience

We are a wholesale plant nursery. We supply high quality plants to garden centers, retail nurseries and landscapers. We offer contract growing in bulk to farmers and corporate landscapers with a realistic lead time. We consult on high-end landscaping projects. Our target audience is a wide variety of businesses looking to re-sell our plants to retail or use in landscaping projects. Average age of buyers 30 - 50yrs, middle to high income. Conscious of purchasing healthy plants of decent height/width for the pot/bag size. Ours is a family owned company with origins dating back to 1967, we have high standards, exceptional work ethic and pride ourselves in service excellence and quality. The company is looking at entering a stage of growth, we're aiming at developing the brand to become one of the leading wholesale nursery brands in South Africa.

The design should have the following

The name of the business to be written out in full - in a handwritten type font - but still be clear and easy to read. (not calligraphy style) Prefer landscape logo. We do like the idea of a root system being incorporated as at the core of our business - that is what we do - we grow plants. We do also like the idea of incorporating a bougainvillea bract / flower into the design as we are known in our area for growing bougainvillea and they are spectacular looking flowers. Google - "Bougainvillea lady mary baring" - mustardy variety These are just ideas - we are not stuck on them :) What we want to relay - is that we are growers... Lastly - we know high detail are difficult to print and will have a secondary logo designed off the main logo for these placements, however - we're passionate about and in awe of how intricate and amazing nature is - and if some of that beauty/detail/intricacy can be captured in the logo - we'd like to portray that passion some-how.

Pink or shouty colors - like neons / super bright colors. Submissions where there is only solid green / shades of green - we want to stand out a bit in our industry by not being another plant nursery with a green logo. Daisies / lavenders / roses or succulents please. Round designs / round borders that could make it look like a badge Potted plants - this gives indication of retail, we are wholesale

Colors to use in the design

We like the idea of being a bit different/standing out more than your normal green plant nursery/landscaping logo - maybe mustardy-orangy / dark yellows / dark greys / beiges / stone - not adverse to incorporating some shades of green - let's just not have a completely green design.
