We are a cost consulting firm that provides accurate, reliable 3rd party cost certainty to architects and owners on commercial construction projects in the pacific nw of the United States. Company is made up of one person who has a stellar reputation in the industry for detail, accuracy, honesty, integrity, knowledge and experience. The process of cost consulting relies upon established professionalism, relationships, trust & teamwork. As well as a mindset of service and being flexible for the clients needs. The intention and vision behind the company is that coming to the right cost for a project is a process. We don't just plug standard and static rates to quantities in a spreadsheet and say thanks. There is an art to what we do, working in a collaborative way to understand the vision of an architect or owner to really develop the custom formula that represents the true nature of the project. We are may more hands on than a typical cost consulting firm, sleeves rolled up, more "maker" than "accountant". We view the estimate as a block of wood that we are customizing and trimming away the excess to get down to want we need. The name is a play on an Architects "Studio" which to me is a place of collaboration, problem solving, listening, brainstorming, understanding.
