Describe your company and organization and target audience

<p>Just Add Noise provides electronic noise emitter devices, for use on Electric Vehicles (EVs). The goal is to make EVs be heard, so that EVs don't squash pedestrians (or give them a scare), because pedestrians often don't hear them. </p><p>The logo will be used on business cards, and on our website, so that customers see something distinctive. And different.<br></p><p>Customers can use our own curated audio file, or add their own file. As the audio files can be literally anything, some customers make their EV sound like a petrol / gas / diesel vehicle, while other customers make their EV sound like PAC-man munching, or a flying space ship. <br></p><p>All the customer has to do when the device arrives is "just add noise" (add an audio file to the device, via their computer), plug the noise emitter in to power, and make their EV be heard.<br></p><p>Our customers and target audiences include:</p><ul><li>industrial EVs at harbor docks (cranes, and lifting EVs)<br></li><li>off-road 4x4 EVs (like Polariss vehicles for example)<br></li><li>electric fork lifts (warehouse applications)<br></li><li>vehicle conversions (converting utility / pick-up truck vehicles from petrol / gas / diesel into EVs)</li><li>domestic EV drivers (every-day consumers that don't want their EVs to be quite so quiet)</li><li>electric buggy / mobility scooters / gophers (often driven at hotels, or at locations with lots of elderly pedestrians) that need to be louder.<br></li></ul>

The design should have the following

<p>Something "edgy" would be great. A logo with 'angles' (e.g. 30˚, not 90˚ horizontal! - see attached very simple example logo), could work nicely.</p><p>A 'growth' or 'amplitude' feel might suit well too. Or it could have a "street", "street art" or "grit" feeling to it, like someone has "pimped up" their ride.</p><p><b>Edit: </b>An exclamation mark can be used after <b>Just Add Noise!</b><br></p><p>Optional ideas:</p><ul><li>Bold 'thick' lines (see angel woman silhouette) could also work in a monochrome style. <br></li><li>Characters are fine if that's your thing. But it's not essential. <b>Edit</b>: The angel woman silhouette is not my artwork, just an example of some else's design, included to give you a "style" direction. If you have a character (doesn't need to be an angel), that can be integrated, then integrate. But the character should be part of the story or included for a good reason :-).<br></li><li>The words "Just" and "Add" might be of a similar size / style / font, perhaps monochrome, while:<br></li><li>The word "noise" could have "movement" or "distortion" or "shock" or colour, or typography that grows in size to indicate amplification.</li><li>Stylizing to indicate we're promoting a product for EVs (could be a font or effect that indicates "electricity" (like lightning)</li><li>Something that indicates noise (e.g. vibration, a speaker, a waveform, amplification) - see 'heavy sound' example logo attached.</li></ul><p><b>Edit2: </b>Hipster character added (not my artwork) as an example idea, if you can draw such characters. <br></p>

<p>Um, avoid Times New Roman );?.</p><p>Seriously though, I'm looking for something slick and modern and a bit edgy, so "classic" or "old-fashioned" won't suit this job. Sorry!</p><p><b>Edit: </b>Probably don't want headphones, as that doesn't relate to our product.</p><p><b>Edit2: </b>Don't really want a microphone or a record player, as this isn't our product.<br></p>

Colors to use in the design

Having a blue element would be good (as electricity or EVs are often thought of as "blue"), but by no means essential. A simple colour palette might be more striking. For example, simple or monochrome colors for the words "Just" and "Add", while the word "noise!" could be a lot more colourful and stylised.<br>
