<p>Great Lakes Ding-a-Ling Wing Brigade is the full, formal name. However, the brand centers around "Ding-a-Ling." We are a local club of wing-foilers in the Sheboygan, Wisconsin area.</p><p>We are a tight-knit, spirited group of watersports enthusiasts searching for a charming logo to print on t-shirts, rashguards, hats, stickers, etc. to display our passion for all to see. We also like to bring awareness to the sport to help our community grow. We have personality and humor, with a slight retro feel. Cracking a beer together in our cold wetsuits is just as much fun as the rippin' sesh we just had.</p>

The design should have the following

<p>As stated the primary lettering of the logo should be "Ding-a-Ling". "Great Lakes" can accompany it in a smaller font above. Same with "Wing Brigade" below. Both are secondary to "Ding-a-Ling".&nbsp;</p><p>Some ambiguity is allowed. If some people see it and don't understand right away, that's ok. But it should invoke curiosity into what it means. Once they learn what our group is, only then must the logo must make perfect sense.&nbsp;</p><p>Logo can be primarily typographic, although the lettering must strongly communicate either wing-foiling specifically or, at the very least, the general theme of watersports. Would also love to see options that do include a logo mark.</p><p><span style="font-size: 0.875rem;">I like the idea of retro wings, like the Wonder Woman logo or the Van Halen logo, and blending that with something surf/water/waves/sunset, etc. Heck, you could even come up with a little mascot. "Spread your wings" with this design, show me something I'm not thinking of.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 0.875rem;">Please remember Sheboygan, Wisconsin is not a tropical place. The sandy beaches are nice, but we have a cold freshwater lake void of palm trees and exotic birds.&nbsp;</span></p>
