Describe your company and organization and target audience

I assume this will be very straightforward, but I have zero design experience. I just want a logo for my horse racing stable that will go on my silks (a jersey for jockeys).

The design should have the following

https://www.etsy.com/listing/1433181493/cattle-brand-seamless-pattern-digital?click_key=b607c83acac6132633cca2a7729eefe19ff3a585%3A1433181493&click_sum=e5dd0ace&external=1&rec_type=ss&ref=pla_similar_listing_top-1

I want the logo to be like a Texas ranch/cattle brand design with my initials DL. I think it would be cool to have an arrow at the end of the L to represent moving forward. I am open to a lot of different ideas, but it should be in the styling of the logos in the photo above. My colors are very simple - grey and white. So it can just be a single color (gray) if you want. All of these types of styles are cool (just with DL instead of those letters)

This design should not have this in the entries

We should not stray away from the fonts description above. Design can vary, but it should be in the style of a ranch/cattle brand that you'd find on the front fence of a ranch.
