Describe your company and organization and target audience

D Sands Rentals is a vacation rental company on the Oregon Coast. We manage condominiums at a 63-unit facility on the beach in Lincoln City, OR. It is a new company that will be nearly identical to our other three vacation rental companies: Sea Gypsy Rentals, LLC (http://www.seagypsyrentals.com), Bend Riverside Rentals, LLC (http://www.bendriversiderentals.com), Pioneer Park Rentals and Surftides Plaza Rentals. We are trying to attract vacationers to stay at our facility. We are right on the edge of the beach. We market to potential Airbnb guests and also to hotel guests. Our condominiums are more intricate than typical hotel rooms, because they have kitchens. The word "condominium" does not translate well to other languages, but the closest word that does translate is "apartment." We are taking over management of a former condominium motel called the D Sands Motel. This is where our 63 condos are located. The design should have the following

We need a few different versions of the logo. We needs two versions with slightly different wording: 1. D Sands Rentals, LLC 2. D Sands Condominiums Next, we want a logo that is either circular or square. We also want a horizontal alternative. We'd like a color version, and an alternate version that is black and white. When you're drafting your entry, keep in mind whether it will look good in black and white. One important note: any logos with palm trees will automatically be ELIMINATED. Our location is Lincoln City, Oregon in the United States and there are no palm trees at this latitude. If you would like an idea of our tastes and preferences, we recently did a $400 contest for a company called Surftides Plaza Rentals. We had almost 750 entries, and it was difficult and time-consuming to give decent feedback to all of you. More than 100 of those entries had palm trees unfortunately and were eliminated. We are going to attach the other logos here that were designed by Hatchwise artists to give you an idea of what we like. We don't necessarily want you to make an exact copy of our previous logos. Personally, I would prefer something that is unique and different from our other logos. I'm also attaching a copy of the logo for the D Sands Motel for context and a picture of the north end of the building. They have a glowing orange/yellow sun in their traditional logo, which will be going away. It might be interesting to see some logos inspired by the outgoing logo. There's a well-known lighthouse on the north end of the building. The lighthouse on the building isn't amazing, but it's well-known. Perhaps you might want to try to put a lighthouse there. Or perhaps not. We're not going to be partial to lighthouse designs in the logo, but we want you to know that's an option. The logo will appear on merchandise and a highway sign in front of our facility that will be viewed by millions over time. It should probably be no more than three colors and not include any fades in colors. Because it will be printed on T shirts, you should not make anything overly complicated that wouldn't transfer well during screen printing. We're not huge fans of cursive or italicized words, but we will consider them if they catch our eye. We also do not want a rendering of the physical building in the logo. We have two existing logos of beachfront companies (Sea Gypsy Rentals and Surftides Plaza Management) that primarily use the color blue. We think it would be great to have a logo that doesn't have blue as its primary color. Good luck everyone!

Colors to use in the design

Something where blue is NOT the primary color. The D Sands motel has a sunset, and a lighthouse on the north end of the building. We want it to be different than our existing Sea Gypsy and Surftides Plaza logos where blue is the primary color.
