Describe your company and organization and target audience

We are an animal rescue that rescues and rehabilitates neglected and abandoned animals, then find them loving homes. We focus on rescuing dogs that would euthanized due to behavioral or medical issues.

The design should have the following

We are looking for a powerful, strong design that shows we are a modern rescue. We carry with us ideas of empowerment for the downtrodden and forgotten, often looking to Rosie the Riveter as inspiration and would like our logo to get across the same ideals. We would like to have a dog or something reminiscent of a dog.

This design should not have this in the entries

We are not looking for anything cartoony or immature looking. We do not regularly rescue pit bulls as there are many other rescues in our area that focuses on them so we ask no pitbulls or other power breeds be featured in our logo. Because we primarily focus on rescuing dogs, please do not feature any other animal.
