Describe your company and organization and target audience

Big Rock Construction provides craftsmanship you can count on and solutions you can trust. We are a full service construction company. We build custom homes, remodel, rain water systems, and provide everyday repairs. We also offer design services, do foam insulation, solar solutions, and have electricians and plumbers on staff. We aim to be Medina's first call for all their home needs. Our brand focus is as a a custom home builder and remodel company that also does home repairs. We are a company based in Medina, Texas a small rural town. Our brand feeling is earthy to match our hill country Texas environment and our target audience is retired executives who moved to this area often from Texas cities to retire or get away from their city homes. They usually own more than 5 acres of land. 

The design should have the following

<p>We need a logo designed that we can use for our business going forward to replace what we have which needs a refresh and doesn't work well in many contexts. We do have a rock on our current logo that feels important to us. The rock shape reflects a real space that exists in our town so we want that incorporated in a way that works for small and large logo contexts.&nbsp; I have uploaded an actual photo of the rock as well as our current logo. The river around it is less important. (The name of this rock is actually called Big Rock.) The rock itself does have a river around it but that is less important for the logo if it doesn't work well to keep it readable.&nbsp; We would like a logo file with and without our business name words to use. I would prefer a square shape logo to a rectangle shape for profile image purposes but I'm open if it is somewhat rectangular. I'd like to see different company word lockups with with logo image.&nbsp;</p><p>If you decide to include a house image keep in mind that ranch style homes are the style that are popular in our area.&nbsp;</p><p>We have not yet selected a typography but it needs to be very readable since our audience is seniors. You can see what we are using in our current logo. To understand our look our core brand colors are: Primary: #606c38, Secondary: #994f13, #c09050, $263616. For black we use: #2c2c1f which is what we want to use for this logo so we can use it well in black and white contexts.&nbsp;</p>

This logo needs to be very readable. In the past I've had logos that I've loved that I'm uploading for comparison to see the boldness and visibility. I've attached those below.&nbsp;

Colors to use in the design

<p>To understand our look our core brand colors are: Primary #606c38, Secondary: #994f13, #c09050, #263616, #99714b. For black we use: #2c2c1f.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>We want our logo to work well in black and white contexts as well as color contexts. It will mostly be used in black and white on invoices, proposals, architectural designs, etc. It may make sense for our logo is black and white since.&nbsp;</p>
