Some designers are using knock-offs of this clipart: http://i.istockimg.com/file_thumbview_approve/4482510/2/stock-illustration-4482510-rhino-head-mean.jpg

Ah, I took mine down because even though I drew my rhino head by hand and colored him completely different, it was originally based on the contest holder's existing logo (tuffrhino.org) with the intention of simply updating their branding instead of radically changing it, not realizing that they originally got their logo from a stock clip art site. Anyway, even if they did purchase the rights from iStockphoto.com to use it in their logo, I'm sure that the license they bought it under does NOT cover having another designer base artwork heavily on it.

OK, people, enough with the unprofessional comments. I am sure the contest holder will answer everyone's questions. Notice that their design brief does not even state that they WANT a rhino in their new logo. In their feedback to me they asked for something related to safety. Their existing logo is STOCK CLIP ART so it is off-limits for Hatchwise Designers, regardless if the Contest Holder bought it from iStockphoto.com or not. Read the iStockphot.com licenses for yourself, nothing in them would allow Hatchwise designers to rip off that artwork and base their designs heavily on it. Simple, see?
