The Atalantos Project will initially be a multi-media website, hosting audio and video stories. We hope to turn it into a documentary film or television mini-series. The audience will be international.
Women play diverse roles in war that are often unseen and under appreciated. The Atalantos Project will aggregate women's war stories; highlighting their diverse roles and experiences in conflict zones. Its intent is to educate, to inspire, and to ultimately encourage women to stand up and play a bigger role in war, peace and security efforts.
