I considered having an icon, a symbol that will convey the idea of "smart." I thought of using a funny looking cartoon drawing of an "Einstein" type of character. So people would associate that funny character with Smart Electric.

The design should have the following

Was previously franchise of "Mister Sparky" See their logo on their website. www.mistersparky.com They use an oval shape on the side of their trucks. But, I am not set on an oval. Maybe use the "Einstein" character in a similar way as their logo.
