Play Dead Commoddities is an oddities retailer specializing in insect spreading and taxidermy. We preserve nature's beauty in unique framings, terrariums, and custom designed art for those with an appreciation for the macabre.

The inspiration for the name derive's from the company's passion for animals. Specifically a cream colored husky (dog) named Whiskey.

The design should have the following

The design should feature a white short coated husky face (Please see attached pictures of my dog) with an insect (moth, beetle, etc.) somewhere into the design. We've been considering the insect to be placed on the dog's nose and the possibility of it being side profile but, we're very open to your creative interpretations. Husky has a partially colored left eye (would be featured on the right of the logo if used) that is diagonally bi-colored blue on top with a left tilt (\) (diagonal pattern) and brown on the bottom if you choose to incorporate color into the eye(s) (See photos). If the design features more than the dog's head he has a double corkscrew tail.

For the font we are considering (but not married to) these fonts: Play Dead ( Playground) commoddities (yes we know it's spelled wrong on purpose) poppins light


It should feel artistic and not bulky.

This logo will be used for
