We don’t want any images of propeller aircraft or anything old-fashioned looking. We may not even want a picture of a jet. Maybe something abstract/stylish? This is your brief, but look at the logo entries???

There are no propeller aircraft or old-fashioned looking planes in any of these logos... that I can see anyways. And they "may" not even want a picture of a jet. Majority of the jets/planes that are in a logo are abstract/stylish. Yes, the majority of these logos have some sort of jet/plane in them. But I know from my first entries, where I didn't put in a plane, the client asked to see what it would look like with a styled plane in it. Have you read the clients comments on these logos? I have and I haven't read too many that are cutting down the logos that have a jet/plane in them. Maybe you should read them too. A design brief can always change once the client actually sees what is made.

Firstly to the contest holder, i was thinking along my logo and thought the silver could be replaced with silver, the shiny kind you get on high quality publications for the business cards and other publications and if getting the sign cut for a building, have the silver as brushed aluminium ad the Orions is perspex to match the colour code. Also to DESIGNERBCN its nice to see new designs / concepts and good look to you, makes a change from copies of others concepts! sallomedico1 - You dont need to write in capital letters to a CH offering your logo for free, seems a little desperate! If you want to build yourself a portfolio work hard towards it, and don't be giving things away it makes them worthless! You have an original design and I don't u have an original design and I don't see the logic in giving it away? Even if trying to build a portfolio.

Mr.Sal, If you are interested in giving away your artwork for free please visit www.digitalpoint.com and enter their contests, no one ever gets paid there. Hatchwise is a good logo contest site and we have many professionals here and we do not like to give away our artwork. I wish you luck on your designs but like I said the other site may be more suiting for you.

i did not copy from anywhere. its in my icon folder and i did not know that it been used in a logo. if you say to me that the logo belongs to a company please let me know and show, i ll withdraw that then. but just a icon you see in somewhere im sure about that, a plane icon can be everwhere and there is a lot of similar icons up there!

dear darksoul... you can see in the comments of the 60358 that the CH comments to me to google pictures of their planes to know what kind of planes they use, I did, and I used an image image like idea (it's a picture, not a clipart) is the image that I used, but is not the image itself or any clipart, I used just like a "base" for the drawing, not more... if that is not allowed I will put off... but then the 90% of the images of these contests need to go off... all the cliparts of planes here are from stock surely... so.. all them need to be retired... and I don't talk about others contests here... so... if the moderator of hatchwise said to me to retire it I will, not problem... but then (I repeat) the 90% of the samples need to be retired (look all the houses sketches in the real state contests or any other contest)... seriously... I don't understand your overreaction... and btw I can send the moderator the picture to proof that is not a stock clipart.... and last... I suppose that my idea is not too much original because is a typical drawing that surely u watched similar a lot of times... but not copied from any stock clipart
