Describe your company and organization and target audience

A small hotel where each room has a private indoor pool. Guest rooms will be designed for couples to get away for a day or two. Will be located near upscale shopping, dining, 2 country clubs, multiple wedding venues and minutes from the lake. Target price point is 300-500 per night. We aim to deliver a premium experience. The property is going to have a contemporary/modern theme.

The design should have the following

I imagine walking through the doors of my lobby and behind the front desk is a large wall that has a waterfall coming down it, with ONYX (in a glossy black, all caps) and Aqua Suites below the word ONYX. When the brand is talked about, it is often being called The ONYX. The Aqua Suites part is added because ONYX Suites didn’t sell what we are, ONYX Aqua Suites helps clear that up. As far as the actual logo, I am relying heavily on this to bring ideas to light as I have had a difficult time coming up with ideas for a logo.

Colors to use in the design

Black/Blue come to mind as Onyx and pool water represent those two colors. However, I am open to fresh ideas!
