Describe your company and organization and target audience

We are a non profit coalition that deals with flood risk issues, such as flood insurance, how to protect homes against floods and other flood information.<br /> <br /> The mission of the MCC is to educate, advocate, and inform professionals and stakeholders regionally and nationally, on flood hazards.<br /> <br /> Our target audience is flood policy holders, realtors, insurance agents, lenders and other flood professionals. <br /> Our goals:<br /> 1. Keep stakeholders informed of flood hazard issues that may affect their community, industry or organization <br /> 2. To keep clear communication and form partnerships with committees, organizations and government entities to carry out our mission <br /> 3. Represent our Coalition members at local/regional/national events, meetings, and other stakeholder events <br /> 4. Present and distribute educational material relevant to our mission and goals to our stakeholders <br /> 5. Provide educational opportunities and other benefits for our members <br />

The design should have the following

The MCC means both the Marshfield Coastal Coalition (our local group) and the Massachusetts Coastal Coalition (our state and national group). We would like to see several options:<br /> -One where we use MCC like IBM (just the acronym) which can speak to what we do without the words<br /> -One where it says Massachusetts Coastal Coalition and Marshfield Coastal Coalition somewhere under or on the logo <br /> -Our slogan should be involved in the logo <br /> -Something that speaks to not only coastal flooding but all flood hazards <br /> -Needs to represent that we are not only local but national (meaning not Massachusetts specific)

we are open to a lot of ideas, none should be limited. We are in the process of a total rebranding. Something simple and modern, that can tell people what we do. We would like to stay away from a logo that involves a house or anything that might resemble the NFIPs logo

Colors to use in the design

blues, whites, black have always been our colors. Maybe coastal grays and yellows and maybe a red if it works
