anowar Contest Holder

We are looking for something more bold and much more like a true corporate identity - like Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, etc. Colors need to be as follows: License[Black]DNA[Red]. We need to stay away from CD / DVD logs since we are an online hosted solution. Additionally, we are looking for the icon to be embedded within the words LicenseDNA. Additionally, the logo needs to promote BOLD, STRONG, SECURE, GROWTH, MOVEMENT. In general, this logo needs a lot more work!!

Right now the two favourite and best logos are NancyCarterDesign (single logo) - requested revisions and ginalin (love the icon black & red lock). If we can combine some of the two favourites - that will be great!! Like to add rivets to DNA to make it feel secure, solid. Also, maybe black thin trim the DNA to see how it looks...if it sharpens the total image further? Here is our temporary working website with some changes to NancyCarterDesign: http://licensedna.easycgi.com I am not yet sold on the current group of designs but looks like we are headed in the right direction. Also, note that we have changed the tag line/ slogan to: Empowering Asset Management. Looking forward to more options.

Hi Everyone! I am glad you, anowar, are pleased with the designs and process so far. I am especially flattered that you like my designs. Thank you! I hope as submissions come in you discover the right design for you. I think it might be good to let you know about a few rules here. All designers and contest holders are obligated to comply with eLogoContests rules. Designer's can only submit their **own** designs - 100% their own. Designs must be fully original and not a take on another designer's logo. (RULE: Entries must NOT: 1. Contain clipart of any sort (licensed or not) 2. Be a copy or "rip" of a logo already submitted to this contest by another designer. 3. Use or incorporate any preexisting image, logo, photo, graphic design or trademark. 4. Be anything other than a design YOU came up with.) Unfortunately, asking to combine designs by different designers would conflict with these rules. This is especially important to the contestants. Since only one designer will win the prize, if the final design is a combined effort, who wins? This is a downside to holding a contest over hiring a designer. Please also be reminded that I retain all rights to my entries until one is selected and awarded. Rights are only transferred upon receipt of prize money. (RULE: The only design that you can use from your contest is the one that you select as a winner, and that one only after you have paid the prize and the designer has delivered the completed logo. All of the designs that you do not select remain the sole property of the submitting designer. ) I mean absolutely NO ill or disrespect. I understand the excitement of the contest and anticipation towards arriving at a final logo. This forum is friendly and casual, rules can easily be overlooked. Blessings, Nancy
