Describe your company and organization and target audience

GFS is a 23 year old family owned Supermarket with 2 locations in Jamaica, West Indies. Over the years we have offered a wide range of merchandise for all demographic, local and visitors/ tourists. From the lowest middle income to the highest middle income categories.

The design should have the following

We would like to bring elements from our current design scheme. ie. Core colors, though tones may be changed. Objective: -To create a logo/ marketing plan to bring General Food into it's next phase of existence. -To keep continuity with the original General Food ... Evolution rather than re-creation. 1/ FONT - General and Food are in different fonts. This is for representation purposes only as we need to sample different fonts as this font will be the official General Food font. 2/ COLOR - The color is as well to be experimented with. Using a deeper red and a more rich tone of green will allow us to keep an upscale feel.We can as well look into using textures to accomplish the feel we want. like wood grain backgrounds or a wet look .. ie. Wholefoods uses a type of hunter green which shows it's earthy nature. [Green and red are great food colors] Both Whole Foods and Sweet Tomatoes are examples I like. 3/ Elements- a) To be able to use the G alone or the GF together for branding. b) To have images/ or elements in the logo capable of being recognizable. ok Please Think about it..
