Citizens Against SCMaglev
We are a non profit citizens group (home owners) fighting a 10 billion dollar elevated magnetic levitation train that is slated to destroy roughly 10,000 homes in 3 counties in Maryland. The train only has 2 stops (DC and Baltimore) and will do nothing to reduce traffic. It's for the "elite business traveler" traveling between DC and Baltimore. It s a boondoggle being pushed through by corrupt politicians and a few corporate interests. This technology has already failed in Europe.
