We are a small, veteran owned maple syrup and sugar producer located in New Hampshire. We produce our syrup the "old school" way with a wood fire evaporator and longer boiling times. Maple syrup and sugar had been utilized in North America long before European settlers came ashore. Maple syrup and maple sugar was promoted by Thomas Jefferson in an effort to reduce dependence on Caribbean sugar cane: http://www.history.org/foundation/journal/autumn12/maplesugar.cfm. Most of the maple industry has embraced technology in an effort to produce as much maple syrup and sugar as possible. We are committed to honoring the traditional ways of maple production. We sell direct to consumers at our sugar house, our website and several small local retailers. Our target audience is the discerning customer who appreciates a premium high quality food product that is produced in a traditional and environmentally friendly manner.
