CBBM, short for Community-based Biosynergy Management is an international network to promote biosynergy for indigenous people in Arctic Canada and in the Congo Basin. CBBM's mission is to build, sustain, and enhance the synergy of indigenous peoples with their lands and wildlife, for the good of all. The main objective of the CBBM is to bring the issues of indigenous people to the forefront of national and international discussions while emphasizing the vital role Indigenous people play in maintaining the human nature harmony. Community-based wildlife monitoring, leadership development, and wildlife co-management decision making are the pillars of the CBBM.
