The Brighton Economic Development Corporation is a non-profit that works in partnership with the city of Brighton in the Denver-metro area here in Colorado. Our community has agricultural roots as well as strong ties to the oil and gas industry. Our organization focuses on business development and business retention here in Brighton. We are launching a new program -- The Brighton Investment Program that will use lodging tax money to reinvest in businesses. One part of the money will be used for physical improvements for a businesses both interior and exterior and another part of the money will be used for workforce development. Our target audience is businesses in the community.
