BioInnovation Academy, conducted by the Austen BioInnovation Institute in Akron (ABIA), encourages high school students to explore solutions to real-life health and medical problems. The week-long sessions aim to stimulate the next generation of entrepreneurs to explore ideas that might combat pressing health issues by developing new products. Students work with both other students and experts to investigate the root causes and possible solutions for a growing medical-related problem.
