Describe your company and organization and target audience

Bicultural Active Living Lifestyle (B.A.L.L.) is a project to increase physical fitness, professional healthcare outreach within a community that is rich in diversity and minority. We are highlighting Asian American and African American culture within North Minneapolis, MN but not excluding other minorities such as Native American, Hispanic, and or African cultures.

The design should have the following

We are looking for a logo that isn't overly complicated but that represents in some way both African and Asian culture. We really like the idea of the Yin Yang symbol simplified as brush strokes but we aren't sure how to incorporate African culture to that. We want a logo that speaks for itself because we don't want any words. More of an organic style, less corporate.
