Describe your company and organization and target audience


My company 44th Minute Media's byline is, "The good news is, you don't have to do it alone. Practical solutions for Indie Artists & Small Businesses."

We offer services that range from Social Media Management to Artist Marketing, Consulting, Copywriting, and other necessities for our target audience which consists of predominantly independent artists (musicians) but also serves random small businesses. The small businesses have ranged from a music studio in Times Square, NYC to a bra shop that serves the Broadway district, to a Philly-based Love & Relationship Coach.

The reason we focus on independent artists is because I'm a singer-songwriter, so I have first-hand experience with what they're going through and bring that experience to the table.

It's very important to me that you know the backstory with this business:
I decided to name the company 44th Minute Media because I lost my mom when I was 9 years-old to Pick's Disease, and she finally passed when I was 13. The years she was dying, I'd see 44's everywhere including the 44th minute of each hour, and I always took it as a sign that everything would be okay.

My mom was the best person on the planet and she was my best friend. Though the time I had with her was short, I knew she had dreams she wanted to accomplish, but sadly, she didn't live long enough to make them happen and also suffered from a lot of self-doubt and loneliness that probably didn't make her feel like she could make her dreams come true.

When I work with indie artists or other clients, I get so happy to help them with their goals because it feels like in a way, I'm helping my mom by keeping her memory alive and dedicating my clients' success to her. I don't know how on earth you can make a logo reflect the heart of the company, my mom, while keeping it fun-spirited and keeping in mind that what sets us apart as a marketing company is that I give a sh&%! Oh yeah, and that we do things with a hefty sense of humor and family.

I'm an actual fan of my clients' music and truly believe in them. I don't work with people I don't believe in. Other companies just serve out templates, but I will be there from start to finish to make sure you know you have someone in your corner.

Thank you so much in advance for being willing to bring this (lack of) vision to life, because I truly have no idea what to expect to find with my final logo product, I just know I want it to have heart! My last logo looked like it could belong to a dentist's office (ugh). I want to eventually be able to have merch and all that good stuff that goes along with a great brand logo. You may not think of it this way, but (no pressure) I'm looking to you as a life changer! Because the logo you create will help solidify my brand's and my mom's legacy!
