I think a better way would be to portray this would be a Viking helmet. See #2703876. Still working on a crossing musket and axe!

Thanks for the comments... Sure, let me see what I can come up with. I don't want to cover too much of the bottom jaw portion of the skull. I might even have one crossing a musket with a battle axe. Stay tuned

Really like the designs you have presented. I was curious as to if if is possible to incorporate a Viking Style beard to the skull?

Thanks for the ratings and the feedback thus far. Here is the brand without the top typeset. Only focusing on the name itself. The Declaration of Independence is written across the skull for a distression effect.
