We are book publishers. We publish novels targeted at an adult audience between 30 - 70 years of age, The audiance for this book will respond to adventure, war, romance and history.<br /> <br /> We are publishing a series of four books entitled Now Is Forever. Each novel of this series is set in a different area of Asia and carries a different secondary title. This will be the first book of the series and the secondary title is - Indochina. The book is set in what had been a French colony for over one hundred years and is now the country of Vietnam. World War II had just ended. The defeated Japanese, who had invaded Indochina, withdrew their troops and doing so, left a power vacuum. The novel tells the story of a young officer in the French Foreign Legion during the years of 1947 - 48, when the French attempted to reestablish control and as North Vietnam fights for its newly-announced independence.

The design should have the following

You will be creating a dust jacket for the novel. There are three parts: front, spine and back. The approximate size of the finished cover will be 131/2 inches long by 91/2 inches wide. The background colors will be those of the French flag: red covers the top third of the cover, white the middle third and a meduim blue the lower third. Check out the flag. These colors will wrap around the complete cover. For the front: superimposed over the red will be Now Is Forever at the top and beneath a few line down Indochina. The white middle section will contain a photo or drawing of the City of Saigon. The selected image will show the Saigon River and city from above. The distance must be close enough as to show the details of the city. Something that show the city toward the end of day would be best. Or, if you have a creative way of showing the story, that might be acceptable. The spine will run vertical with the novels title first: Now Is Forever. Then the author&#039;s name: Michael Wiliamson. At the bottom printed horizontally is the publishers name in small letters: Experion Publishing. The back will be composed of 2 - 3 testamonials to the novel, each about 3 lines, plus three quotations, each about 4 lines plus any appropriate design created by the designer and carried through from the front. With this first dust jacket you will be creating a theme that will be carried through the other novel covers.
