-
The concept

A travel concept for people aged roughly 20–35 who want to go on adventures together. Participants can book solo or with friends. You may start the trip as strangers, but leave as a close-knit group of friends.

The experience is built around shared experiences, adventure and connection. It is not a traditional group tour where you simply travel from one tourist attraction to another.

Think of:

Travelling through an unfamiliar country with a group

Road trips in unique vehicles

Sleeping in tents and spending time in nature

Hiking and outdoor activities

Games and spontaneous moments

Campfires, music, food and drinks

Doing things you normally wouldn’t do at home

Getting lost, discovering new places and creating stories together

A group of strangers becoming genuine friends

The vibe is somewhere between an adventurous road trip, outdoor weekend, festival and friends’ trip.

Target audience

Men and women aged 20–35.

They are people who:

Don’t mind sleeping in a tent

Want to meet new people

Value adventure over luxury

Aren’t afraid to step outside their comfort zone

Care more about experiences than a standard holiday

Are comfortable travelling solo, but want to become part of a group

Can also travel with friends

Are looking for stories and memories, not just photos of a destination

Positioning

The concept should be globally scalable and work internationally.

The price point is accessible to the target audience, while still offering a substantial, premium experience. For example, around €2,200 for a 6-day trip.

The feeling should be:

“This isn’t a holiday. It’s something you have to experience.”

Brand feeling

The name should:

Feel international

Be short and powerful

Be cool and enjoyable to say

Sound good when spoken out loud

Be easy to remember

Work as a standalone lifestyle brand

Have the potential to build a strong community identity

Potentially have a short nickname or abbreviation

Look good on a T-shirt, cap, vehicle, website and Instagram

Important: not mainstream

Avoid generic travel names and clichés such as:

Adventure

Travel

Explore

Wander

Nomad

Journey

Escape

Discover

Wild

Global

Tribe

The name does not have to literally describe what the company does.

I’m looking for something with its own character, attitude and cultural feeling.

Think of a brand that could become a movement or community, rather than a traditional travel agency.

Inspiration

Names/brands I find strong:

Enter the Wave → “Enter”
Strong because it creates a feeling and suggests action, while also working as a short standalone brand name.

Travelbase
Strong because of the combination of travel and the idea of a base, community or starting point.

Nike
Strong because it is short, international, memorable and can exist as a completely independent brand.

I’m also interested in names that don’t immediately explain what the company does, but can develop their own meaning through branding and community.

Naming directions

Think broadly and generate ideas in categories such as:

Short existing words with a strong meaning

Invented or made-up words

Powerful word combinations

Words that suggest movement, connection or adventure

Names with a subtle outdoor association

Names that could work as a verb

Names that could represent a group or community

Names with a raw, young and adventurous character

Names that work well as a nickname

Names consisting of a maximum of 1–2 words

Avoid names that sound like a travel agency, backpacking organisation or wellness retreat.

Desired output

Generate 50–100 unique name ideas.

For each name, provide:

The name

A short explanation of the feeling/story behind it

Why it fits the concept

A possible nickname/abbreviation

How the name sounds internationally

Then identify the most interesting brand concepts, rather than simply selecting the “best travel names”.

Focus on names with brand potential, character and the ability to build an entire world around them.
