Cracklin or Cracklin's -- this is short, memorable, evocative of Southern cooking and fun to say, but it certainly doesn't support the healthier menu bent! LOL

I (heart symbol) Gritz -- could make a cute marketing rollout for tee shirts, bumper stickers, etc. because grits-lovers would want to proclaim it, especially in Oregon. Again, the heart is for love for animals, loving Southern cooking and heart-healthy grits and other Southern favorites. The logo would feature a picture of the heart, not the word, and people would probably call the restaurant Gritz when they become regulars because people like to nickname places and friends! The dog could be peeking over the heart, with paws on either side of the "vee"

Moonpie -- this is an iconic Southern favorite and a fun word to say; could also become the name of your mascot, the dog in the logo; or make the "double-o" into a dog face ... says nothing of the healthy aspects, that's a bonus to come later after you pique their interest with the fun-to-say and easy-to-remember name

Hushpuppy -- well, that about says it all! Another fun-to-say, easy-to-remember name that evokes Southern cooking!
